Any way to setup a WISP connection to a hotel WiFi and a USB connected phone/modem using the USB device as a secondary source of internet?
I frequently have spotty hotel wifi but would like to fall back to a secondary source of internet.
Hi, I’m trying to follow the set up in the figure attached above but on a 300m v2 with the latest firmware there are three sets of configurations. the first named wifi has
led name gl-mt300n-v2:wlan
trigger natdev
device ra0
the second named VPN
led name gl-mt300n-v2:wlan
Trigger natdev
device (empty)
The device options are wlan, wan and power
How do I set it up so the middle led flashes when VPN traffic is present?

I have a MT300N-V2 with 2.2.64 firmware. Could anyone give me a hint how to setup a macfilter list for the wifi access point?
There is no macfilter option under Lede -> Network -> Wireless -> Edit [Master Wifi Device] -> Interface Configuration -> Wireless Security. I guess it should be there… neither it is in the tab “Interface Configuration -> General Setup”
Is there no support for macfilter only in 2.264 firmware or is it missing at all for the MT7628 chip that is used in MT300N-V2?

I have a probleme with my AR300M Router I could not acces the web-interface, wenn I open the 192.168.1.1 I get directely this page 192.168.1.1/cg-bin/luci with OpenWRt on the top oh this page and Authorization request.
I tried the reset bottom but it seems that it is not working (with unplug reset pushed + plug ), no change.
could please help, How could I fix this.

Thank you very much for your reply. I was able to achieve similar by downloading latest generic LEDE for ar150 (https://downloads.lede-project.org/releases) and installing openvpn per various online tutorials (e.g. https://nordvpn.com/tutorials/openwrt/openvpn/ ), then installing “VPN Bypass” ( https://github.com/stangri/openwrt-packages/tree/vpnbypass/net/vpnbypass/files ), which adds a GUI to LUCI for setting ip ranges, ports, and domains to bypass VPN.
It is all working great but I miss the elegant gl-inet front-end. Thus, I would like to request that gl-inet consider adding a feature like “VPN Bypass” to the official GL firmware support of openvpn. I could not get “VPN Bypass” to work with the GL firmware, but I think it would be an addition very highly valued by your users, so a good idea to integrate into your official releases.

Hi! Recently we bought few units GL Mifi router with motherboard version (2.5.0).
When we put in the 3G SIM card and system online without any problem.
If we using wifi connection or LAN connection then the router auto reboot.
I’ve upgraded firmware 2.263 but still the same.

Hi, I purchased the GLinet MicroRouter from Amazon. It states on the description that it supports VPN + TOR. I can not see how to activate the TOR settings though? Can someone please tell me. I can’t see a firmware for it either.
Might be browser cache issue. Try to clear the browser cache and try to accesss the router. If this does not work you may need to clear the settings back to default
After three days the problem seems to be solved.
The client mode has not been disabled since then.
I changed the ap to ap wds mode and deleted the file in /usr/bin/gl_health.

Default IP is 192.168.8.1, not 192.168.1.1.

I kind of thing what may be the probleme, I Update the fireware with this version openwrt-gl-ar300m-clean-2.264.tar
could thsi the probleme, because now the 192.168.8.1 go directely to http://192.168.8.1/cgi-bin/luci and no Web-interface.
could please help to fix this!
